What to Expect From a Web Design Project
Starting a website project can feel overwhelming. Here's a plain-English walkthrough of what the process actually looks like from first conversation to launch.
Starting a new website project can feel overwhelming — especially if you've had a bad experience before. We believe transparency makes for better projects, so here's an honest look at how we work.
Discovery
Every project starts with a conversation. We want to understand your business, your goals, and what success looks like for you. This phase ends with a project brief we both sign off on.
Design
We start with wireframes — low-fidelity layouts that map out structure before any visual design begins. Once the structure is agreed, we move into high-fidelity mockups. You'll get two rounds of revisions.
Development
Once designs are approved, we build on a staging environment so you can review progress at any time.
Launch
Before going live, we run through a comprehensive pre-launch checklist: performance, accessibility, SEO basics, security, and analytics setup.
