Co-founded WebSight Design in 1995 and has been figuring out what users want before "UX" was a job title anyone had heard of.
Joe has spent three decades determining user experience, which in 1995 meant making sure the animated GIF of a dancing baby didn't take four minutes to load on a 28.8k modem. Today his focus on strategy, sales, and user experience is considerably more sophisticated, though he maintains that the dancing baby was peak engagement.
Joe believes deeply that good design should be invisible — which is why most clients have no idea how many arguments he won on their behalf before the final comp landed in their inbox.
