Robert Mudgett

Director of Technology

Has been programming since 1980, which means he was writing code before most of the internet's infrastructure existed — and some of it still runs on his principles.

Rob started programming in 1980, before the World Wide Web existed, before JavaScript was a twinkle in Brendan Eich's eye, and before anyone had coined the phrase "move fast and break things." He leads the programming teams and larger projects with the authority of someone who has seen every paradigm shift firsthand and has strong opinions about all of them.

His decades of experience mean he can immediately identify when a clever new solution is actually a problem from 1987 wearing a different hat. This saves the team an enormous amount of time.
